Closing their 1 millionth subscriber, Cignal is now the Philippine’s No. 1 Pay TV content provider.
To celebrate this momentous leap, a thanksgiving party was held on September 23 at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati City, including our very own Save ‘N Earn Wireless as their Territory Partner for the Province of Bohol.
Hosted by Paolo Bediones and the Curtis-Smith sisters, Anne and Jasmine Curtis, the event was specially attended by Manny V. Pangilinan, MediaQuest Holdings Chairman, Emmanuel C. Lorenzana, Cignal President and CEO, and Oscar Reyes, Jr, Cignal COO.
During the event, Cignal looks back into its humble beginnings six years ago in the Direct-to-home (DTH) Satellite Technology Industry. The game-changing brand attributes its success to “many things” as mentioned by MVP in an interview, but ultimately to its pledge to find better ways to deliver “the best viewing experience” to Filipinos.
Cignal, indeed has the widest reach in the country where even the Philippines smallest islands or islets can avail of its HD (high-definition) Digital TV experience—enhanced with Dolby Digital Sound technology to bring only the clearest picture and sounds to your home screen. And Lorenzana adds “We are everywhere in the archipelago; providing Filipino families access to the best TV technology and programming available, and at costs that ordinary households can afford.”
Though, younger than its competitors, Cignal’s rapid growth only proves to strengthen its commitment to meet the changing demands of the Filipino viewer and to be readily available to its market thru its partners.
Cignal is currently being distributed in Bohol by Save ‘N Earn Wireless, its territory partner. One can buy an SD Cignal Kit for as low as P1,990* and HD Cignal Kit for P2,990* at any Save ‘N Earn Wireless branch province-wide.
